单词 | 有兴趣 |
释义 | 〔accent〕Particular importance or interest; emphasis:注重:特别重要或极有兴趣;强调:〔enter〕To participate in; take an active role or interest in:加入:参加;在其中扮演一个积极的角色或对其有兴趣:〔very〕In general usagevery is not used alone to modify a past participle. Thus we may say of a book, for example, that it has beenvery much praised, very much criticized, very much applauded, or whatever, but not that it has beenvery praised, very criticized, or very applauded. However, many past participle forms do double duty as adjectives,in which case modification by a barevery, or by analogous adverbs such as quite, is acceptable: there can be no objection to phrases such asa very creased handkerchief, a very celebrated singer, or a very polished performance. In some cases there is disagreement as to whether a particular participle can be used properly as an adjective:over the years objections have been raised as to the use ofvery by itself with delighted, interested, annoyed, pleased, disappointed, and irritated. All these words are now well established as adjectives,as indicated by the fact that they can be used attributively ( 在一般用法中very 不是仅用来修辞过去分词。 因此我们可说,例如一本书是very much praised, very much criticized, very much applauded(深受推崇的,深受批评的,深受赞扬的) 或者任意什么, 但是不说它被very praised, very criticized(很推崇的,深受批评的) 或 very applauded(深受赞扬)。 现在这些词都已被确定下来当作形容词使用,这已被它们可以当作定语的事实证明( 〔otherworldly〕Devoted to the world of the mind; concerned with intellectual or imaginative things.思想世界的:专注于思想世界的;对智慧的或有想象力的事物有兴趣的〔minded〕Directed or oriented toward something specified. Often used in combination:对…有兴趣的:指向或适应某一特定事物的。常用于复合词:〔concerned〕Interested and involved:对…有兴趣和有关的:〔communalist〕One who is more interested in one's own minority or ethnic group than in society as a whole.地方自治主义者:更加有兴趣于自己的少数民族或种族群体而不是整个社会的人〔sexuality〕Concern with or interest in sexual activity.性欲:与性行为有关或有兴趣〔rely〕"You are the only woman I can rely on to be interested in her" (John Galsworthy).“你是我唯一指望对她有兴趣的女人” (约翰·加尔斯沃塞)。〔hamburger〕After having eaten countless hamburgers, one may perhaps be interested in knowing more about the origins of the name.By the middle of the 19th century people in Hamburg, Germany, the busiest port in West Germany today, enjoyed pounded beefsteak in some form.Perhaps brought to America by the large numbers of Germans who migrated around that time, this sort of dish with the nameHamburg steak may have appeared on a menu as early as 1836. The first recorded use ofHamburg steak is found in 1884 in the Boston Journal, withhamburger steak being first recorded in a Walla Walla, Washington, newspaper in 1889. A 1902 cookbook contains a recipe for Hamburg steak that is closer to our conception,a recipe using ground beef mixed with onion and pepper. The hamburger was on its way,as was the Americanismhamburger. See Synonyms at pretend 装出有兴趣的样子 参见 pretend〔concern〕To be of interest or importance to:关心:有兴趣的或有重要性的: |
